The function of choline is to remove fat from the liver. Say, for example, during aflatoxicosis fat accumulation occurs in liver. Addition of choline to the aflatoxin contaminated feed protects the poultry from adverse effects of aflatoxicosis.
Dear Dr. Ram Singh Bibyan , I agree that choline (natural or synthetic) has liver protective properties, however in case of diagnosed mycotoxicosis I would rather go for more complex solutions, I am afraid choline alone will not solve the severe problem.
For amelioration of aflatoxicosis in poultry, I conducted a decade long research based on which two mycotoxin binders namely Mycodetox B1 and Mycodetox B2 were formulated. These were included in the aflatoxin contaminated feed @ 145 and 132g per quintal, respectively and tested in Chicken, quails and turkeys. Both the binders were equally efficaceous in ameliorating aflatoxicosis. The ingredient composition of these binders is as below:
Mycodetox B1:Sodium bentonite (20.69%), zeolite (27.59%), activated charcoal (6.90%) mannan oligosaccharide (13.79%), methionine (17.24%), butylated hydroxytoluene (3.35%) and choline (10.34%).
Mycodetox B2: Sodium bentonite (30.30%), zeolite (30.30%), mannan oligosaccharide (15.15%), methionine (18.94%), butylated hydroxyanisole (3.74%) and Zinc (1.52%).
Md. Abdullah Ansari yes, choline from vegetal source, in the same way as synthetic cholina (for example cloride) is used for liver protection.

Respected mam,
Acacia Arabica Bark is considered as good source of Natural Choline and India's top Feed making companies are using this in their products. Please help us to reach your R&D team to collaborate with your company we will supply this natural resource for research purpose.
Dear Arulmani Thank you for the comment, indeed there are several lipotropic substances that we may find in plant based ingredients. Also is very useful to optimize the fatty acid profile of the diet fed to our animals taking into account the genetics and type of production (slow/fast growth, age of slaughter, etc).
