Effect of CreAMINO® in energy-reduced broilers diets – results from Russia
Published:September 10, 2018
Summary
Note: Creamino® is no longer distributed through Evonik. Since July 2020, Evonik is selling its own product GuanAMINO® to the market. Please contact us directly or get in touch with your local Evonik representative for more information or purchase Conclusions The supplementation of CreAMINO ® (600 g/t) to an energy-reduced diet (–50 kcal/kg) enabled broilers to perform...
Meike, This really looks like this source of creatin improves the metabolic utilisation of feed energy. Perfect trial design under sensitive conditions! The negative control depresses yields and the creatin source more than re-establishes yield of the positive control. It looks like this additive pays for itself and at the same time increases profits by reducing diet cost. An economic calculation would be interesting! Rgds, Ernst
This study looks very tight and shows a strong benefit to the product. The use of a broiler growth program can help interpret these types of studies. When ingredient formulas are given, the accuracy of the additional value of an ingredient can be quite good.
Dear Frank, we can confirm from various Creamino customers these results in practice. It clearly has shown, that the energy sparing effect is superior to 50kcal, so you can expect in addition to this sparing as well performance effects, or alternatively work with a higher energy sparing value. In the TDS a range of 50-100kcal is given, depending on species and diet. br Robert
Dear Ahmed,
thanks for asking. Yes, Creamino has a matrix value for Energy (and for Arginine and Creatine).
If you want to use sparing effects, you can build Creamino into your matrix. Creamino is independent from other additives so it gives you lot of flexibility to finetune your diet, taking things out or in.
Especially now, as feed cost is going up - Creamino can help to reduce cost with energy sparing!
The on top use is rather aiming at performance increase - with very convincing results.
best regards,
Robert
Quite interesting. Particularly for us in developing countries.
Something good to try here.
Will post my results from here when i try this with my students.
Thanks in appreciation.
Dr. Meike Rademacher, OS RESULTADOS DO ESTUDO CONDUZIDO, CONFIRMAM A EFICIÊNCIA DO PRODUTO. POREM,UM DETALHE CONSTATADO NA DIETA EXPERIMENTAL FORNECIDO AS AVES NA FASE FINAL DE ENGORDA, DESPERTOU NOSSA ATENÇÃO. PENSO QUE A VARIAÇÃO VERIFICADA NOS NÍVEIS DE METIONINA + CISTINA ANALISADOS ENTRE AS DIETAS CONTROLE (0,72%) E A CONTROLE - 50 KCAL ((0,99%) FOI EXPRESSIVA ,PARA FICAR SEM JUSTIFICATIVA. . NO MINIMO DEVERIA CONSTAR A INFORMAÇÃO , SE NA DIETA CONTROLE ,A RELAÇÃO DOS AMINOÁCIDOS METIONINA + CISTINA (0,72%) COM A LISINA ATENDEU O PRECONIZADO NA PROTEINA IDEAL PROPOSTA PARA FRANGOS DE CORTE NA FASE DE TERMINAÇÃO.
Juarez Donzele Dr. Meike Rademacher, THE RESULTS OF THE STUDY CONDUCTED, CONFIRM THE PRODUCT'S EFFICIENCY. HOWEVER, A DETAIL CONTAINED IN THE EXPERIMENTAL DIET PROVIDED TO THE BIRDS IN THE FINAL FATTING PHASE, AWAKEN OUR ATTENTION. I THINK THAT THE VARIATION IN THE METHONIN + CYSTIN LEVELS ANALYZED BETWEEN THE CONTROL DIET (0.72%) AND THE CONTROL - 50 KCAL ((0.99%)) WAS EXPRESSIVE, TO BE WITHOUT JUSTIFICATION. , IF IN THE CONTROL DIET, THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE AMINO ACIDS METHIONIN + CYSTIN (0.72%) WITH THE LYSINE MEASURED THE PREMISED IN THE IDEAL PROTEIN PROPOSED FOR CHICKENS IN THE TERMINATION PHASE.
Robert
in English:
"... thanks for raising this interesting aspect. In principle the GAA/Creatine mechanism is quite independent from Amino acid ratios and interdependencies. While for instance adding Arginine is very likely to have an impact on Arginine/Lysine ratios and other equilibriums, GAA is largely inert to these systems.
However, it always needs to be reconsidered for the respective type of diet. Especially low proteine diets, where GAA can give in important benefit, require a profound understanding. So your findings surely need some discussion for their source and possible effects.
As this field is too broad to discuss it by email - may we contact you directly to go into the specifics?
