BackgroundBiofortifications of chicken with bioactive nutrients such as DHA and calcidiol [25(OH)D3] have been viewed as an effective strategy to produce health-promoting meat for human consumption [1, 2]. Recently we made an in-house gas chamber made up of an acrylic box to analyze CO2 emissions from broiler birds during the growing period. The box acted in a similar way to a respiratory chamber. It is much cheaper and more convenient to analyze GHG emissions from poultry birds.
Specifications:
Acrylic gas chamber
10inch x 10inch x 12inch
CO2 meter: CM-505 (Gaslab plus)
Air pump: Constant airflow ...
