The culture system in India fails at various DOC due to infections and disease impacts which crops from the negligent management practice in pond disinfection and pond preparation without appropriate crop holiday in between crops. The farmers or the farm management mostly are concerned with a successive crop to compensate failure in the previous culture.

SafMannan is a product which stimulates immunity to prevent from emerging pathogens, infections and stress during the DOC. However, it has to be applied at very low dose throughout the culture , which offers best results in better managed ponds.

Congrats on the break through, but it may not go far if issues to be addressed are not cared for:
* Pond disinfection after each cropping
* Feed management as it relates to fry development - very important
* Understanding the real challenge and addressing it.
I'll like to know if your product is acting as a gut stabilizer / probiotic in managing such disease?

We also tried mannanase and other blend of enzymes for shrimp culture. It showed very positive results.

Mohamed Arif SafMannan offers better resistance to white faecal disease and enhances to prolong the culture combating the pathogens entering the gut during the DOC. It is vital that the product is applied from initial days onwards, ie. 20 DOC onwards which offers best results when better management practices adhering to pond bottom and water quality is taken care of seriously.
