Interesting article. I am interested in knowing if there are any proven brands for chicken feed flavouring. If they are there, can they be shipped to Kenyan animal feeds market.

Every year the marketing age of broilers decreases by an average of 0.75 days for the same performance. This trend is likely to continue in the same direction for the coming years. The feeding program for poultry has a major influence on profitability as feed cost accounts for up to 75% of production cost. Conventionally, it is assumed that requirements are either listed in tables or breeder nutrition guides. IntroductionThe optimal concentration of nutrients required by growing pigs generally decreases over the growing-finishing period with a phase feeding program used as an attempt to meet the needs of the pigs over the changing requirements. Whenever raw materials are bought and stored, an assumption is usually made that the finished products produced will be of the same weight as the raw materials used during production. Ironically, this does not happen. There are always variances in weight of the end products. The finished products are usually less in weight as compared to the raw materials used. Where are these variances coming fro ...
