The objective of the 2-hour workshop is to provide participants with opportunities to discuss and integrate engagement strategies into their own classroom or academic program. Interactions with the symposia speakers will further facilitate the creation of active learning strategies to increase student learning. The workshop will also discuss how to assess and document the effectiveness of implementing the activities on student interest and motivation.
