The Feed Ingredient Course, organized by the University of Illinois and the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, will take place in Madrid, Spain, from June 25th to 29th, 2018.
The program directors are Professor Hans H. Stein (University of Illinois, U.S.) and Professor Gonzalo Gonzalez Mateos (Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, Spain) and the co-sponsors of this course are US Soybean Export Council (USSEC) and FEDNA (Spain).
The venue of the event will be the Ramon y Cajal room of the Faculty of Medicine, which has a 400 people capacity.
Course objective
To describe commonly used feed ingredients in diets in terms of chemical composition, antinutritional factors, digestibility of energy and nutrients, recommended inclusion rates for pigs and poultry, and quality control. At the conclusion of the course, participants will have gained knowledge that will enable them to effectively evaluate and use feed ingredients that are available to the global feed industry.
Cost of attending the course: 500 €.
