For reducing the cost of feed with minimal stress on bird and with maximum weight gain is there any specific or thumb rule formula for calculating minimum or maximum daily feed required (gram/day or gram/bird weight) that bird can fully utilize it nutrition without losing the excess of feed nutrition in feces.

How long do you keep adding that extra 5gms? Till slaughter or for a certain number of days. Let's say I'm keeping the broiler chickens up to 12 weeks old. Thank you

Elizabeth Anyasodo Nkiruka Gram/Day or Gram/Bird will be good as an indication but important will be GUT health, good gut health will convert the Gram/Day or Gram/bird into extra body weight without the incidences of diseases.
