Louisville, KY – The Poultry Science Association (PSA), the leading international professional scientific society dedicated to poultry, was excited to host an evening of recognition and honored many outstanding achievements and contributions to the field of poultry science.
During his remarks, Dr. Brian Fairchild, President of the Poultry Science Association, emphasized the importance of innovation, dedication, and research in advancing the poultry industry. “These awards celebrate the exceptional talent and hard work of our members who are driving progress in poultry science,” said Dr. Fairchild.
Gisela Erf, Janet Fulton, Michael Kogut, and Karen Schwean-Lardner were recognized as the class of 2024 PSA Fellows and alongside dozens of scientists and graduate students honored for their achievements and contributions to the field. The evening was a memorable celebration of these individuals' dedication and hard work in the poultry science field. PSA congratulates all the winners and thanks them for their continued commitment to excellence in the field.
