While keeping the Litter for use as Organic fertiliser it shoild be under Roof in pile. Exothermic reaction due to bacteria with moisture starts after some time with the rise of temperature up to 65 to 70 degree centigrade. It can be controlled by applying Air in the bottom of the litter with planned piping and blower A temperature sensor can be arranged at length of litter pile to make automatic air blowing.Temperature decreases and if turning is done once in 15 days, it will become a good biodegraded organic fertiliser which absorbs in soil immediately. Ammonia will evolve during process and it can be scrubbed with water on the roof arranged exhaust fan system.

Can you please let me know: how much manure comes daily from a Layer & broiler bird? And also is there any formula to calculate the manure outcome/amount by the feed intake ratio.
