Bone marrow pathology: anemic changes due to Coccidiosis

A flock of 11500 birds of 35 days age is having mortality 30 birds per day. Birds were opened for postmortem examination and diagnosed for Ceacal Coccidiosis and confirmed after microscopic examination. This was supported by pale combs and pale breast muscles. Gross lesions included are pale, yellowish-pink color and fatty appearance of marrow (right sided photo). Where as normal bone marrow with in a left side of the photo. Treated with anticoccidials and stepped up management for litter treatment. Support
