Most of the technical articles cited in Engormix are excellent and of practical implication. The said article is also one of them regarding the uniformity which is of utmost importance during the growing period, and ultimately for high production performance in the subsequent production cycle especially in case of breeders.

Lotte article on doc uniformity had been able to present the significant role of hatchery in the overall efficiency of broiler production management.The article presents the uniqueness of hatchery management practices in creating a solid foundation and start up for broiler production ideal for efficient processing and maximal processing output. The supply of uniform doc to farmers and the processing industry constitute a core factor to sustainable industrial output and profitability.

The hatchery role in managing the multi factorial complexis of maternal age, health inplications, as well as the role of enviromental complexes in the issue of uniformity has placed hatchery management at the centre point of creating efficient and sustainable broiler output in the world broiler production. However it is still debatable if most hatchery worldwide and most especially in developing world see this role as a strenght in their vision definition.
