Effect of Gano-met® on growth performance in broilers

Commercial Feed was applied into the trials.
Feed formulation was not altered and additionally applied the product into drinking system.
The climate in Taiwan is usually hot and humid that result in heat stress and causing mortality.
Both trials were conducted in summer and the high/low temp was 36.7/23 during the period.
Dramatic temperature difference made high mortality that housed in 3rd floor of trial 1.
Compared to broiler, Taiwan native chickens is a very active and aggressive bird that are raised in backyards and has to be raised to maturity at least for 11th week. From the time, farmer will catch mature chicken for selling till 18th week.
Stress from high temperature and chasing-catching contributed to mortality of trial 2.
