This is an excellent presentation on the use of enzymes in monogastric animal. Use of enzymes to obtain optimum performance of monogastric through maximum utilization of available nutrients in feedstuffs cannot be overemphasized. 1. IntroductionOften a seemingly straightforward aspect of nutrition reveals itself to be, upon closer inspection, not so simple after all. An illustration of such a conundrum is the nutrition of the newly hatched broiler chick. Great overview. As mentioned wheat has higher CP content, and one can work with CP levels varying anywhere from 105 to over 190 g/kg which makes reducing CP in diets more difficult whereas corn has a much tighter window. This makes corn more attractive to use but reducing CP in diets can be done successfully in wheat, IF, CP is below 120 g/kg in the grain along with using the proper NSP Enzymes. ...

Dear, Sandro Cerrate,I fully agree with your statement that the ideal would be to work with different rations respecting the age and body weight of the rooster, this also serves for the female because the maintenance requirement will vary according to body weight and physical activities and in the case of female still producing eggs. However, in practice, this is almost impossible due to problems ...

Thanks Carlos for sharing your thesis dissertation results. Indeed, your study helped me to analyze the protein and energy requirement. Using your study and other 6 studies showed that protein requirement is linearly related to the age of the roosters. Meaning that at 24 weeks the protein requirement is around 12 g/day and at age 61 weeks 20 grams/day, this equation had a R^2 equal to 0.88. On the ...
