Dear Dr.Naseem,

Maxii Guard is a synergistic blend of glutaraldehyde (hydrophytic biocide) and 4 different quaternary ammonium compounds (lipophilic biocides) with pine oil & terpineol to improve the enduring action. These combinations are known to be best as glutaraldehyde and 4 quaternary ammonium exert synergistic action and are very effective as a disinfectant against Gram +ve & Gram –ve bacteria, bacterial spores, on coated virus & naked virus (parvovirus, entero-virus), mycoplasma and fungi, even in the presence of organic materials and hard water. This formulation is non-corrosive as well as safe for animals & care taker hence the name given as an example.

Being a Veterinarian you are the right authority to choose appropriate disinfectant available in your region.

Thanks & regards,

G.K.Dahal
