The WVEPAH course ‘Egg Layers’ is now available online. This course is an extensive overview of important infectious and non-infectious diseases at different stages of the egg layer’s production process. Participants will be trained to investigate, diagnose and solve both common and less common problems.
This course will be held in English by a team of world-class Course Masters. Among them: Dr. Robert Gauthier (CA), Dr. Eric Gingerich (USA), Dr. Vincent Guyonnet (CA), Dr. Stéphane Lemière (FR), Dr. Mike Petrik (CA), Dr. Peter Plumstead (ZA), Dr. Ian Rubinoff (USA), Dr. Hilde vanMeirhaeghe (BE).
The course officially started on June 1st, but enrolment is open until September 2021. This virtual course consists of a series of pre-recorded videos that you can study at your own pace. In addition, in October, there will be a series of Zoom meetings with the teachers for questions and interaction between teachers and participants. Once enrolled in the course, access to the material is permanent. The date for the final exam has not yet been determined, but it will not be before November 2021.
This course is part of the ‘Certificate in Animal Health: Poultry Production’ (CAHPP) program, awarded by the University of Luxembourg and approved by the OIE.
