Sequencing of Avian Influenza Virus Genomes Following Random Amplification

Published: March 6, 2013
Summary
Avian influenza (AI) is a significant disease of many bird species, and some subtypes represent a threat to humans. Low pathogenic (LP) avian influenza viruses (AIV) are known to circulate in wild birds, and recently the Asian H5N1 highly pathogenic (HP) AIVs have also been found in wild birds (1,2). This wild bird reservoir presents an ongoing threat of AIV introduction into domestic poultry flo...

It is a very high degree genetic lab work posted in this forum which really make some impact when it is done for AI related issue. Quick identification of AI and the subtype involved are quite good way for creating progress in future possibilities thoughts. These information may be helpful to reduce the time of identification of virus architecture and what it can do if HP or LP .ok.

-Let me invite some comments from the lab for my interest- how far human influenza virus is projected to be creating pandemic at any time. HIV- human influenza virus also get mutated quickly and do some job with reference to mortality and morbidity.
-When AIV get an entry to human being and may get mutated and may release good volume of virus which are HP then there could be pandemic.

-Is there any new findings have come up to predict the number of generations may be required to show the actual virulence of AI HP virus killing million of human being on the basis of genetic analysis on such lab findings?

-Influenza virus from poultry or birds are getting important even we focus on migratory birds and wild birds. Are there other possibilities of getting cross infections of influenza from other species around us with similar pandemic hypothesis?
-How the birds and human beings have been together for million year since beginning and why suddenly the birds are targeted for creating the concept of threat to human beings. If the threat is due to increase of chicken populations all over the world for food production then what is possibilities of banning poultry growth all over for reducing expenditure on R and D on this line and also funds can be diverted for better developmental cause.
-Perhaps there are some unanswered points so far while focusing on AI. Gradually the world monitoring groups need to clarify through the scientific forecasts so that dependent states or continents make policy programs for food production on other lines without wasting time on poultry if it is real threat to human being. Thus ecologists ,virologists, and other branch of scientist need to say which disease need to be identified quickly for control when diseases of Zoonotic importance are concerned.

I have opened up a debate as mostly AI issues are focus every where without saying any thing on future of combined staying on this planet along with all creatures?
-the present article is quite interesting and very nice with good targets of study. thank you. dr m rath

Avian influenza virus is that virus which shows it to have genes adapted to both birds and humans, with more of its genes from birds than less deadly later pandemic strains. While its most highly pathogenic strain (H5N1) had been spreading throughout Asia since 2003, avian influenza reached Europe in 2005, and the Middle East, as well as Africa, the following years. As you will that in 2003 to 2004 the avian influenza was reached to pakistan and it ruined all parts of pakistan and it also disturb all poultry business mans who were relating to poultry .and as wel as it also take spread to humans. As a veterinary doctor I will give you an opinion that it is a zoonotic disease and this disease is found in all over the world.
