Elizabeth Santin received her degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1997), Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Estadual Paulista Julio de Mesquita Filho University (2000) and Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Estadual Paulista Julio de Mesquita Filho University (2002). Dr. Santin is currently associate professor at the Federal University of Parana. She has experience in veterinary medicine, with emphasis on Avian Pathology, focusing on the following topics: broilers, intestinal health of the birds and control of intestinal pathogens
