Dr. Looper was appointed Head of the University of Arkansas, Department of Animal Science, September 1, 2011. He coordinates animal science research and extension programs of the University of Arkansas System’s statewide Division of Agriculture. He also coordinates academic programs leading to B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in animal science in the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences on the Fayetteville campus. He is also a member of the American Society of Animal Science (ASAS).
