The chemical compositions of both the locations are normal and meet the international standard, however, the way milk produced, stored, transported and sold in the market needs hygienic practices all over especially in the developing countries. such studies are welcomed at this end.
For a developing country like Ethopia, it is a good learning study for postgraduates. It adds awareness about the food safety aspects of common food items used on daily basis. However, microbial / bacterial contamination due to unsanitary practices do need consideration but the chemical aspects with milk produced in a nature's machine (cow) may not be relevant for food safety or nutrition aspects. Only the fat component is relevant, of course. It is just a view.
This is a good information as the base data for improving the quality of milk at the future, but also to seek the technology means adapted to such condition, in order to give them the opportunity getting some money.
Dear author, it has been a nice work, thank you. But, the average values of chemical composition of the cow milk given in the summary are replaced with the values ??in Table 1. On the other hand, according to the title of the article, it would be better if the counts of microbes of cow milk in urban and periurban area were given in the first plan instead of cow breeds.
