This is a beutiful article reviewing the story of events occuring in body of a dairy animal which is expected to have a beutiful shape, to have the capacity to produce healty milk, the capacity to support the farmers and the national economy, the capacity to replace itself by exhibiting optimum fertilty status, to produce milk while maintaining good health and fertility. This is made possible by the two mechanisms as mentioned by the authors at Hypothalamus level.
Efforts of the authors are appreciated and it is recommended that intensive investigations be continued at farmers conditions to achieve all these goals in an integrated way, keeping in mind the cost competitiveness and quality standdards set by the consumers, also.
Congratulations, authors.

Dear Dr. Dubey,
Congratulation for the article about partitioning of nutrients during lactation in dairy animals. Really its well written and very much informative regarding nutrient partitioning.
It is very benefical article. Dairy cattle have special physology, metabolism and behaviour in different stages of their lives and should be managed and feed according to these facts. Mismanagement and failure in one of these stages can affets other stages and could be irreversible. Running a dairy farm requires wide range of knowledge and experience. There are many sensitive balances and calculations in feeding, health issues and animal welfare
