The point of lay depend on the attained weight of the hen. Most hen starta laying at 2kg b.w. and I fate to be able to maintain the production of eggs the b.w. must not, perharps this may be a reason for extra hour of lighting to eat to be able to produce. More work needed to be done on the effect of light when feeds are not available. Kehinde Alabi
