Dr. Michael Kogut joins Vetanco’s team as Director of R&D Host Defenses and Immunity

 

Vetanco, an international reference laboratory in animal health announces the appointment of Dr. Michael Kogut as its new Director of R&D for Host Defenses and Immunity.

Together with Dr. Sherry Layton, Dr. Mariano Fernández Miyakawa, Dr. Andrés Wigdorovitz and their relevant teams, Dr. Kogut joins an outstanding scientific ecosystem focused on accelerating the development of disruptive technologies to address the challenges of animal production worldwide.

With decades of experience in USDA-ARS and fundamental contributions to immunology, Dr. Kogut arrives at Vetanco to contribute his extensive expertise in immune response modulation and intestinal integrity. We have already worked with him on the development of innovative projects that will bring unique products to the animal protein market.

His arrival marks a new phase in the company’s innovation strategy, focused on sustainable, high-performance alternative solutions for animal production worldwide.
