The WVEPAH training program is designed for veterinarians and poultry professionals who wish to consolidate and refine their knowledge in areas such as pathology, nutrition, biosecurity, and epidemiology, among others. We are pleased to announce our upcoming course:
Module II: Commercial Layers at the prestigious Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima, Peru, May 12th to 16th, 2025.
The course will be taught by renowned specialists, including Dr. Eliana Icochea (PE), Dr. Vitor Arantes (BR), Dr. Daniel Valbuena (CO), Dr. Alexandra Mendoza-Reilley (USA), Dr. Stéphane Lemière (FR), Dr. Hilde Van Meirhaeghe (BE), and Dr. Vincent Guyonnet (FR).
The course is structured as a hybrid format, combining in-person attendance with online preparatory courses. The theoretical components will be offered online with pre-recorded lectures, and during the in-person period, the program will include laboratories, clinical cases, workshops, and visits to poultry farms.
This course is part of the program leading to a postgraduate academic diploma: "Certificate in Animal Health: Poultry Production" (C.A.H.P.P.) for veterinarians and "Professional Certificate in Animal Health" for other animal production professionals, both awarded by the Université de Montréal and globally validated by the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH). WVEPAH graduates join the international community of avian health and production experts.
