Hens with less cost per unit than most other sources of high quality animal proteins are increasingly seen as an important tool in meeting the needs of a burgeoning world population. Eggs are one product of this versatile food animal. In the past 50 years, selection initially at the breed level and then using quantitive genetics coupled with a sophisticated breeding pyramid, has resulted in a very productive hybrid for a variety of traits associated with egg production.
extending laying period through selection would be better proposition . the video was not properly received at my level might be due to net issues.
It will be better if author put her article in this technical section so that i can see what are main areas of recommendations.
