One of the ways to keep up with latest technology, innovations and information in the livestock industry is to attend conferences and exhibitions. Many international conferences and exhibitions related to agriculture are now organized in Nigeria and are largely attended by farmers in Nigeria. Nigeria is considered to be an emerging market by the World Bank; it has been identified as a regional power in international affairs, and has also been identified as an emerging global power. Nigeria’s livestock industry is rapidly growing and attracting international exhibitors probably due to her purchasing power and increasing population of more than 160 million.
On 25th and 26th of April, 2018, Aviana Nigeria International Expo held a mega exhibition and conference on Poultry, Dairy and Aquaculture at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. The president, Poultry Association of Nigeria; Mr. Ibrahim Ezekiel was present at the expo.
