Dear Mr Vincent,
Thank you for your comment.
Please let me explain about the mechanism of the Muco-defen.

Muco-defen consists of surfactin.
Surfactin is a compound composed of an amphiphile, which can change the coccidia, and Clostridium perfringens the cell wall's surface tension.

We have experimented with many farm trials and obtain positive results by helping our customers to reduce the diarrhea problem caused by coccidiosis and Clostridium perfringens.

You may follow our showcase to receive more interesting articles and other news updates.
Thank you.

First of all, Thank You very much for detailed discussion, on Bacillus subtilis ,as antibiotic alternative. You told that Bacillus subtilis produce surfactins which can change the surface tension of cell walls of Clostridium species, As both of them are gram +ve bacterias, So how Bacillus cell wall is not affected by these surfactins? What is the mechanism to control gram -ve bacteria population? Which stage of coccidia is affected by surfactins? What is effect of Bacillus subtilis on clostridial spores?
