Nutritional requirements of modern broilers

Published on: 10/05/2021
Author/s : Ing. Joaquin A. Paulino / Research professor, ISA University, Consultant Nutritionist.

Introduction:Due to the constant genetic evolution in both the production of broilers, nutritionists must constantly adapt their nutritional recommendations and feeding programs to maximize economic results at all times. A constructive and fruitful insight on feed formulation and management aspects. Thank you for sharing the great article!
Regarding the use of non-linear models in maximum-profit feed formulation and also stochastic feed formulation I would suggest checking the following links.

Thank you very much Dr. Mohammad Afrouziyeh in my opinion non-linear formulation is the future of nutrition and will demonstrate to producers that the cheapest formulas are not necessarily the most profitable for the company and various ingredients that are discarded due to their high cost in linear programs will be used with good profitability in the future example: concentrated soy protein 90%, bacterial protein 70%, etc.

Congratulations Dr. Paulino. It's a real tour de force. Excellent review. In my company, non-linear feed formulation and in-line NIRS formulation have been a reality for many years.

Dear Carlos Avilan, an interesting topic for Dr Vásquez: avian immunonutrition and variation of requirements according to the challenge (disease, stress, inflammatory response) during production

Hello. My name is Edmore Bumhira, a student at Chinhoyi University of Technology in Zimababwe. I am doing a MPhil in Animal nutrition. Here in Zimbabwe we are still backwards in terms of Methods used to formulate animal feeds. Are there easier modern methods of formulating broiler feeds.

May you share them with me?
