Ma5 plus clone 30 response
What are the reasons that render a flock response to a combination of Ma5 plus clone 30 is 1- Good for ND --Elisa : Mean titre , CV %,Minim titre , Max titre all are good 2-IB --Elisa Mean titre, CV %, Maxim titre all are good but the minim titre did not equal to half of the mean titre. What is the corrective action in this case?
Now you are talking about the unique combinations vaccine of the most important diseases affecting poultry industry so response of healthy flock could be very good titter and CV %, otherwise any deviation from this you have to check your application methods, immune system of the birds and respiratory symptoms before vaccination.
The minim titer did not equal to half of the mean titer; this is not a problem if the mean titer as expected. Simply you may have some individual with zero titers or very low titer as a result of the application of IBV live vaccine only. Don't worry about this because cell-mediated immunity may act well. Don't worry about this if nothing is indicative for field challenge. High IBV ELISA titers in flocks vaccinated with MASS strains may be indicative for field challenge rather than to be a correlate of protection.
