Dear Mr. Christian, It's very good article in testing NDF. This is, ultimately, to get rid off our skepticism of NDF for birds. Even so, 0.2% and 0.4% dose have to be self-tested. Regards, Peyi

Dear Mr. Peyi, thank you for your comments! NDF has been used successfully in poultry for the last 6 years - there is no need to be sceptic on the impact of the additive. Several articles, published internationally confirmed the effectivity - among them a meta-analysis on the impact of NDF in broiler on weight gain and feed conversion. Regarding the topic of the article... the 0.6% dosage was for scientiefic interest only, whereas the 0.3% dosage has been successfully used in practice; and it is therefore our recommendation if problems with Salmonella occurr. 0.2% will certainly have a beneficial impact on the bird - however it may not be enough to fully fight Salmonella if the problem is known prior to the use of the additive.
