Speakers at United Pork Americas will analyze both technical and market issues

The speakers' lineup at United Pork Americas (taking place September 7-9, 2022 in Orlando, Fla. – USA) includes more than 40 world swine industry leaders. Put together with a mind for the future of the swine industry, the education sessions will cover technical topics and an in-depth analysis of international market relations, consumption, exports and much more.

Some highlighted topics include:
  • Challenges and Opportunities in the Global Swine Market, with Christine McCracken
Christine McCracken holds a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics from the University of Georgia and a master's degree in agricultural and natural resource economics from the University of California at Davis. She currently works with Rabobank and conducts animal protein research for North America.
  • What are the Megatrends that Will Shape the Global Pet Food Industry in the Next Decade?, with Aidan Connolly
Connolly holds a Masters in International Marketing from University College Dublin, Ireland. He has worked in over 100 countries in political associations, with state and national governments in the United States, China, Europe and Brazil, international organizations such as the European Union and the United Nations.
  • The Swine Disease Reporting System and the US Swine Health Improvement Plan Initiatives, with Giovani Trevisan
Trevisan joined Iowa State University and is currently part of the Veterinary Diagnostic and Production Animal Medicine Department at Iowa State University, where he coordinates the Swine Disease Reporting System and serves as Veterinary Diagnostic and Epidemiologic Information Management for the US Swine Health Improvement Plan.
  • The cost of Production in North and South America: Brazil vs. USA vs. Canada, with Tom Stein
Stein is the creator of PigCHAMP software and co-founder of MetaFarms. He is also a Senior Strategic Consultant at Maximus System / Maximum Ag Technologies.
  • Asian Pig Farming and Its Impacts on the Americas, with E. Wayne Johnson
Johnson is a consultant at Beijing-based Enable AgTech and has been advising hog producers and companies since 1980. He has developed training in disease control, diagnostics, swine farm management, nutrition, genetics and production, face-to-face and online, at China, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and internationally. He has spent 17 of the last 25 years living in China, has extensive international experience, with many publications and awards for his groundbreaking work.
 
These are just a few examples of great swine leaders who will be present at the event.
