Salmonellae when lodge in ovarian tissue can not be eliminated through antibiotics. eggs obtained from such flock should not be utilized for food. Same is the case for Mycoplasma. It can not be eliminated once it lodges into deeper tissues or joints. So no question of treatment arise. simply cull this flock. ayaz

my observation on AIV in Pakistan is some what peculiar in the sense that new entity in Pakistan always started at the beginning of summer specially in Hazara region of Pakistan where i am witness to AIV outbreaks since 1985 when first outbreak of H7 was recorded during May. Dr Zohaib. thanks for the observation. Influenza viruses are generally sensitive to Amantadine but at the same time these had been found develop rapid resistance to this compound. But the question is should it be used in chicken production? My reply would be NO. ayaz

Do agree. the product do possess the merit. It is around in practice in Pakistan at farm level bu still not accepted by feed millers. I donot know why?
