During COVID years the slaughters houses had shortage of workers, and the marketing channels were disrupted. Then many farmers had to slower speed production rates until they got a buyer, They needed time to wait or to accelerate if needed for their sale turn. Eggs, pigs, broilers were in that situation.

@BAWINDSOMDE OUEDRAOGO COVID vaccine does not protect against all the stripes in the world. The vaccine was to brake the speed proliferation of the pandemic, but not to inmmune the world population. People get Influenza Vaccine each year for new stripes in the environment. It did no got protection for the years to come.

Interesting the level of added SALT. Corn grain is low on sodium Na, but not wheat.Usually corn is sheaper than wheat, but wheat is highly digested. The state of Sonora Mexico usually has availabe wheat for feed rations. Not this year.

@Dr. Sudheer May be YES, any published reference to share? Specially for Mexico and Latinamerica countries where high heat temperature is a limited factor.When there is heat broilers will skip noon meals and will keep eating late in the evening. But over lighting at night it is also another canibalistic problem.

In turkeys, the use of high density energy diet so it is not easy to get a firm pellet. Boney is right to search for new feeding responses in this turkey´s genetic stirpes. I have seen Dr. Boney web seminars at Penn St Univ and wishing to attend more technical updates.

@Peter Williams This is a contributing point of view that involves lots of technologies and management practices in between waste to viable protein such fermentation, fungus digestion of hard substances, use of heat, enzymes, etc before feeding the insects.

@Hiren Pancholi I almost agree in your comment, but never supplemented minerals trough water, perhaps electrolytes but not K,P. At some extent CaCO2 dissolved naturally in drinking water.
