Muco-defen®
Muco-defen® is a pivotal product in supporting gut health through a specialized formulation. It features Surfactin, a patented, solid-state fermented postbiotic, classified as a second metabolite derived from Bacillus species. As a postbiotic, Surfactin offers high stability, is free from drug residues and antibiotic resistance, and effectively enhances gut defense while modulating the microbiota. Muco-defen® helps prevent pathogenic bacterial colonization, interferes with the replication of enveloped viruses, and inhibits the sporulation of coccidian oocysts. By promoting a healthy gastrointestinal tract, it enhances mucosal integrity, fosters a balanced gut microbiota, and supports optimal digestive and absorptive functions.
• Muco-defen®’s bactericidal effect
Surfactin contains 7 amino acids and an amphiphilic structure with hydrophilic and hydrophobic, to destroy the bacterial cell membrane as well as change the osmotic pressure to achieve the bactericidal effect.

- Inhibit the growth of pathogen bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Clostridium perfringens, Brachyspira hyodysenteriae, Salmonella enterica and Staphylococcus aureus.

Dosage
- 1-1.5 kg/ton of feed for normal situations, 2 kg/ton for treatment, dosage can be doubled when needed
