Purpose: The HACCP Roundtable Discussion is designed to discuss food safety and operational opportunities in poultry and meat processing.
Intended Audience: Food Safety Professionals, Meat and Poultry processors and allied industry.
Summary: This roundtable will be conducted as 2 sessions: (i) the morning session is to provide industry participants (ONLY) an opportunity to discuss current food safety challenges and issues, have updates on current research to address industry challenges for pathogen control, and (ii) the afternoon session is designed to engage with USDA-FSIS personnel from the Atlanta district and address questions facilitated by the UGA team.
The regulatory issues/questions will be aggregated from the morning session and discussed with USDA-FSIS.
Registration deadline – April 5th, 2021. A zoom meeting link will be sent to registered participants by April 6th, 2021.
