Please are those boxes made of wood? I worked on maggotmeal on my under graduate project on maggotmeal as a replacement for fish meal and we have good results at 75, 100 replacement levels. I am furthering a study on improving maggotmeal quality in fish diets now for my MSc. research and i am sure this forum could serve as a platform we can share ideas and innovations. Pls Mr/Dr/Prof Ediwarman can you explain the method shown above in mass maggot production? if we can replace such here or improve on it depending on our peculiar environment.
Thank you Mr. Patrice, I am glad I can give insfirasi activity for your business, I maggot farming using PKM with a wooden tub container measures 3 x4x0, 5 m3 inserted PKM much as 350 kg and wet enough water. After 3-4 weeks I can harvest 100-150 kg wet Maggot / life.
I can definitely help you, Mr.Akintaro. I made a box out of wood the size of 3x4x05m3, I input PKM as described above. I also try to test for catfish and tilapia as an alternative feed or as a substitute for fish meal. Thank you all.
