Royal Agrifirm Group has chosen Porphyrio® software as integration partner for its PoultryNEXT platform.
Royal Agrifirm Group (RAG) – whose motto is “Better Together” – and Evonik have formed a new digital collaboration. Both companies are aiming to ensure global food production is sustainable for the long term.
RAG has chosen Porphyrio® software as the preferred solution and partner for its PoultryNEXT platform which it offers to its valued customers.
As a first application field this year, PoultryNEXT solution for layers will launch locally in The Netherlands with a ‘headless integration’ – giving greater flexibility on data outputs – with Evonik’s Porphyrio® system. The initial focus is on farm performance monitoring and market benchmarking.
“At RAG we defined a very clear strategy on how digital solutions should support our business and that of our farmers and customers. Within that strategy vision, we look for partners that can provide us with state-of-the-art solutions for our PoultryNEXT platform,” says RAG’s Johan De Schepper, Board Member and Leader of Digital Innovation.
“With their proven track record and increasing market impact, we are happy to announce the partnership with Evonik on their Porphyrio® solution.”
Evonik PLF’s head of Global Business Development of Porphyrio®, Kristof Mertens, says: “We are honored and proud that RAG has chosen to collaborate with us in Porphyrio® on the digitalization of the poultry production process.
“RAG is a global player, so the partnership is beginning in our home market and can grow from there. This fits us well, and we are happy that Evonik PLF is further regarded as the preferred partner for digital solutions for the poultry businesses.”
