Addcon Academy 2017 was held successfully in Vietnam

Addcon´s fast expansion in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. The Addcon Academy for the distributors of Addcon Asia Ltd was organized in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam during 26th to 28th July 2017.
This 3-day event was one of the biggest events in Addcon´s short history in Asia. All distributors who came from different countries- all the way from Jordan & Iran to Japan and Australia appreciated the technical program as much as the practical exchange of information. The event was marked with full of activities, filled with fun and learning.
The opening of the event started with informal German theme dinner at one the most popular German beer restaurant in downtown Ho Chi Minh City. The main purpose of this dinner was to welcome all the guests and provide them with an opportunity to informally meet each other, discuss Addcon business in their respective countries and exchange success stories about Addcon products.
Next day was the formal technical sessions wherein all Addcon CRM’S gave elaborate presentations on different Addcon products. The session started with Mr. Kurt Wegleitner’s presentation on the current world scenario at the backdrop of the ongoing antibiotic ban in the region. Mr. Wegleitner also touched the sensitive issue of grain spoilage and the necessity of its preservation.
Dr. Anant Desphande gave a remarkable presentation on the history of the usage of antibiotics in animal husbandry. In his presentation on antibiotics, from its very beginning as a wonder weapon to treat diseases to the fading out of antibiotics due to enormous concerns in regards to resistance problems, he made clear that there will not be a next generation in antibiotics.

Dr. Christian Lückstädt discussed about the various research activities at Addcon and introduced the participants with some of the new concepts and products that Addcon is soon launching in the market, such as the 3rd generation acidifiers like Addcon XL forte, FORMI Alpha and FORMI GML.
There was also an interactive session wherein the participants expressed their confidence in Addcon products simultaneously sharing their concern on the availability.
Mr. Wegleitner shared the details of expansion activities in production plant in Norway and assured timely supply of products despite the fast growth of demand.
The whole day classroom session aptly ended with a recreational river cruise on Saigon River when all participants enjoyed their dinner witnessing the scenic and beautifully lit skyline of the HCM city.
The last day of the event marked with the visit to a reputed integrated poultry company Binh Minh’s feed mill in Dong Nai province. Mr. Duong Anh Tuan - Director of Binh Minh Feed Mill Co. was kind enough to take around all the Addcon team and show his various operations.
Addcon is proud of its highly motivated distributors throughout the region and is looking forward to the Addcon Acidifier Summit which will be held next year.
