The XVII AMENA Congress, will be held from October 20th to 23rd this year, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. This edition, AMENA dedicates it's congress to Dr. Jose Antonio Cuarón Ibargüengoytia for lifetime achievement and his dedication to the development of animal nutrition, not only in Mexico but throughout Latin America.
The AMENA Scientific Committee has designed an academic program that includes 12 symposiums, around 40 international keynote presentations, researchs from various universities in the country which will be presented both in poster format and oral presentation, research and industrial work tables and technical-industrial discussions.
For the first time in the history of AMENA, there will be an active participation of a foreign association: the Poultry Science Association (PSA), who is coordinating one of the symposiums. This initiative aims to bring together young researchers and students with an international vision of animal production, in this case poultry; while the personal approach of young researchers and students with teachers of PSA is promoted. It is the first time in the history of the Poultry Science Association who holds a seminar outside the United States and Canada.
