Biography
Dr. Alison Leary graduated from the University of New England in Australia with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in the area of animal physiology and nutrition and continued to complete a PhD on “Factors affecting egg and egg shell quality in various strains of the laying hen”. She also achieved her Masters in Business Administration in 2004 and has 20 years’ experience in the animal feed industry, with 12 of those years spent travelling and living in Asia. Throughout much of her career Dr. Leary has worked within the poultry industry and more recently in the pig and dairy industries.

Alip Kumar is currently in his final semester of his PhD in poultry nutrition and gut health at the University of New England, Australia and he works with A/Prof Shubiao Wu. He obtained his BSc and MSc in animal science from Bangladesh and MSc in monogastric animal nutrition from South Korea. His research focuses on "Necrotic enteritis in broiler chickens: alternatives to in-feed antibiotics and gut health".

Biography
Damien joined Adisseo in 2009 as a research manager in charge of the vitamins R&D program. Since 2018, he is responsible for the global scientific support of the Health by Nutrition products (probiotic, butyrate, phytogenics, selenium) and the mycotoxin management products.
Damien obtained a master degree at the engineering school Institut Polytechnique LaSalle Beauvais (France) in Nutrition and Health. He worked for 4 years in Canada as a research engineer at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. He completed a PhD degree in Biology and Nutrition at the University of Marseille (France).

Biography
Maarten De Gussem is founder and Poultry Consultant at Vetworks: a team of selected poultry experts servicing the poultry industry and providing support on poultry health topics including Poultry Gut Health, Mycoplasmosis, Coccidiosis, Salmonella, Avian Influenza, Biosecurity and Food Safety.

Besides his work at Vetworks, Maarten is academic adviser at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Ghent University and a member of scientific committees of Poultry Mycoplasma Conference and of IHSIG Conference on Poultry Intestinal Health.
Maarten De Gussem is also author of Broiler Signals, a leading broiler management book in more than 12 languages.

Dr. Glenmer Tactacan received his Bachelor’s (1995) and Master’s degree (2001) in Animal Science at the University of the Philippines in Los, Banos, Laguna, Philippines. In 2007, he joined the PhD program of the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada where he received his doctorate degree in Animal Science in 2011. He is presently working with Jefo Nutrition as part of the company’s R&D and international technical service team.

Dr. Nishchal Sharma has more than 12 years of experience in poultry nutrition in industry and academia. He has a PhD in poultry nutrition from UNE. Dr. Sharma has five years of experience as a technical manager in the Asian poultry industry, and two years of experience as an animal nutrition consultant in South Australia where he was working for both poultry and pig industries.
