New mega-mill in Fulton will take the place of older feed mills in Hope and Nashville.
Tyson Foods’ new $75 million poultry feed mill in Fulton, AR, was formally dedicated on June 30 with a ribbon-cutting.
According to reports, Complex Manager Randy King explained the new mega-mill will take the place of older feed mills in Hope and Nashville and will allow the company to expand grower operations in the region once a new hatchery is built.

The company is aiming to process 1.3 million birds by September 2024 with the new hatchery. Current production is 1 million birds.
The mill will produce about 13,000 tons of finished feed in a week and load 115 rail cars in 11 hours.
“It’s a very unique feed mill," King told SWARK. "It’s got some of the biggest equipment around. We’re producing more feed than anybody in Tyson."
The facility will employ 61 drivers, managers and mill workers when fully operational.
“When we get the hatchery done, Fulton will be one of the largest mills in the country," said Terry Crabtree, manager of the new mill.
