Resistant starch in newly harvested corn

Is resistant starch in newly harvested corn bad for broiler feeding? I have heard that waiting at least 3 to 4 weeks will help the resistant starch being broken down, so that the newly harvested corn won't affect broilers as much. Do you completely use newly harvested corn or mix new with old corn? Thanks.
