Summary
A trial involving 4588 day old broiler chicks was conducted to check bio-efficacy of Avizyme- 1505 & Phyzyme (Danisco Denmark) and Allzyme SSF (Alltech USA) Four diets were prepared as fallows
o Control diet (normal feed having ME 2750 Kcal/kg) o Control (-ve) diet having ME 2750 Kcal/kg without any enzyme o Diet supplemented with Avizyme-1505 @ 200 g/ton and Phyzyme @ 50 g/ton having ME 2690 Kcal/kg o Diet supplemented with Allzyme SSF @ 200 g/ton having ME 2690 Kcal/kg]
Experiment was conducted at Research & Development Center, Islamabad Feeds (Pvt) Ltd. Pakistan during period from July 28, 2009 to Sep 1, 2009. Commercial broiler crumb feed served as control diet having ME 2750 Kcal/kg. Control (-ve) diet was prepared having ME 2690 kcal/kg. Avizyme-1505 & Phyzyme and Allzyme SSF were supplemented to control (-ve) diet to make other two dietary treatments. Enzymes were added in premix and feed processing in pellet machine was closely monitored at 90 C. There were 36 replicates floor pens with 127 chicks per pen and assigned to four dietary treatments at random. daily feed intake and weekly body weight per pen were recorded and feed: gain ration was determined. results of experiment indicated similar growth performance by broiler chicks on positive control and enzyme supplemented diets. However, control (-ve) diet having 60 kcal/kg less ME than control had low weight gain and poor feed: gain ratio. Results on growth performance birds are presented in table on next page. It can be concluded from results that both of the enzymes showed same growth performance in birds
