2024 PSA Annual Meeting: Call for Symposia

The PSA Program Committee is inviting symposium proposals for the 2024 PSA Annual Meeting in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Policy on Symposia, guidelines, and a sample symposium proposal are available on the PSA Website. Please note that all accepted symposia are required to be published in Poultry Science® or The Journal of Applied Poultry Research. Completed manuscripts must be submitted to the respective journal no later than October 1, 2025.

Symposium proposals can be submitted online until Tuesday, October 17, 2023.

Details & Submit

All submissions must follow the sample format (available online here) and include:

Symposium title
Brief description of the symposium (This will be used for promotional purposes)
Title of each presentation and name of the confirmed presenter
Length of each individual presentation
Anticipated expenses to be incurred
Any sponsorship support to help defray travel expenses

PSA will make funds available to offset expenses, but organizers are expected to provide some sponsorship funds. PSA does not pay travel expenses for PSA members or individuals who attend the Annual Meeting on a regular basis.
