Systemic enzymes have long history in medicine and are widely used to combat various kinds of stress, inflammatory disorders & immunosuppression. Key ingredient in Immunotech is Serratiopeptidase which is a protein (proteolytic) enzyme isolated from the nonpathogenic enterobacteria Serratia E15 found in silkworms.
MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Immunotech increases the serum levels of systemic enzymes, which activates α-2- macroglobulin a serum protein that facilitates the binding and removal of foreign peptides, excessive inflammatory mediators and auto-toxic endogenous proteins and thereby support balanced humoral and cell-mediated immune function and modulate systemic inflammation.
Immunotech binds to α-2-macroglobulin in the blood in the ratio of 1:1, which helps to mask its antigenicity but retain its enzymatic activity. It is slowly transferred to site of infection. It hydrolyses bradykinin, histamine, and serotonin responsible for inflammation due to infection and reduces the impact of disease stress and its secondary complications by targeting the circulating immune complexes from the blood, degrading the toxins, and facilitating their removal from the system via phagocytes.
Immunotech also regulates recruitment of specialized pro-resolving mediators (SPMs) and other lymphocytes at the site of inflammation and reduces capillary; breaks down abnormal exudates and proteins; facilitates the absorption of decomposed products through blood and lymphatics.
Immunotech reaches high concentrations in the inflamed tissues, attains peak levels in one hour and regulate immune cell migration from lymph node to inflamed and injured tissue.
Immunotech has ability to dissolve the dead and damaged tissue that is a byproduct of the healing response without harming living tissues.
Immunotech reduces the thickness and viscosity of the mucus of respiratory tract and improves the elimination of it through bronchopulmonary secretions.
Immunotech act as anti-inflammatory, immunomodulator, anti-oxidative and fibrinolytic. It also helps to improve drug efficacy and reduce disease and environmental stress.
