Precise & simple description. Thanks Dr. Trudy. Awareness on Campylobacter incidences in the poultry industry is low, particularly in this part of the world. Though we emphasize on good hygiene practices, hazard based control measures and risk based control measures to control Salmonella incidences, many poultry operators do not even carry out test for Campylobacter. The main reason for this is lack of awareness. This has to be done through the scientific community, if the media is involved, they we will make a mess out of this bug.
