COCCIDIOSIS IN BROILERS

Published: March 6, 2014
By: alpha sani
I am a broiler farmer in Nigeria. I would like solutions for the increasing incidences of coccidiosis amongst farmers in Nigeria. I have used several coccidiostats and the problem will disappear and resume sometime after the drug is withdrawn. Are there natural remedies for this issue?

In the united kingdom we are pushing for higher levels of bio-security across the bored from Broiler Breeders , Hatchery's and on Broiler farms, this seems to be having a positive effect towards reducing levels of coccidiosis but as for direct treatment I don't no of many other then anti-biotic's. Few links to some interesting articles I am very sorry I cant be more helpful. http://www.fwi.co.uk/articles/02/09/2013/140612/how-to-spot-signs-of-coccidiosis.htm http://www.fwi.co.uk/articles/24/12/2009/119065/novel-equipment-helps-in-the-battle-against-poultry.htm
