Kind regards.
Dear, Thank you so much for your question. Florfenicol price,as we predict, has over 80% possilibity to go down further. At present time, Florfenicol is produced with raw material D-ester chemically syntherised with higher cost. The price has been going on bottom line at loss because the factories want to sell more when some practical changes comes. The practical change is that D-ester will be available by fermentation, by this way the cost will significantly reduced and minimized the influence by environmental protection policies. A few Chinese manufacturers are in process of equipment and facility upgrade to welcome the new production. Florfenicol preparation in liquid form is however a different product, even though the active ingredient is Florfenicol. The preparation may contain Florefenicol 20% max with less price impact of API. Other significant factors influence the finished liquid product is brand name, potency and efficiency, pricing strategy, etc. Now let's come back to the forecast of Florfenicol price in the Q1 of 2024, it is sure to something like the current price level because there is very little space to go down much. But another possibility is there might be a time for rebound, the manufacturers want to grab the final profit just before the new production technology come to the market. End.
