Thanks for sharing this study. The point about SCFAs and MCFAs improving gut health makes a lot of sense and matches what we have seen with piglets after weaning.

In our case we found that even good additives do not work as well if the feed is not consistent. Once we started preparing pelleted diets on the farm with our own feed pellet machine , the mix became more uniform and piglets used the nutrients better.
