Dr. Kapil Gupta How could we calculate the lysine or methionine balance based on calculated MP only? MP amino acids composition varies depending on the RDP and RUP profile of the TMR.

Umberto Francesa I don’t understand the logic behind 3:1 when we don’t know what is composition of rumen microflora and what type of proteins they’re converted into.

Fats are not attacked by rumen microbes. Rumen protected fats like calcium soaps can be used to quote the beads of amino acids. I think this will work.

In general 400g of Betaine HCl = 1000g CC60% based on molecular equivalence and bioavailability with additional benefit of osmo-regulation. I can send you detailed info and some articles by email. Please send me your email.

Hi Piotr
The yolk is a feed for last stages of chicks, so I don't think if betaine contents in yolk will not surpass your expected outcome.
Regarding your comments on synthetic type of betaine, there are many good researches available and published in peer reviewed journals which shows that HCl form is as good as anhydrous form if supplemented on the basis of betaine contents (not replaced one pr ...

Very good points by Piotr but what you expect from Betaine contents of the yolk.
My question with the author, if the betaine was used as replacement of Met or Choline or added on top?
What is the cost to benefit ratio?

Good to see the comments of Rafael. There is much more to be done on proteases. As discussed in review, this is not a straight forward like phytases. There are many proteases, variation in units and unit definitions, synergistic and antagonistic effects of different proteases, different optimum pH, feed buffering effects and many more. We need make it simple for the users/nutritionist. Keeping con ...

Very good review. However, it focused more on Axtra XAP rather proteases per se.

@ Dr. Kompiang Rumen protect choline chloride is now available. Very good to control body fat metabolism especially when animal is in negative energy balance. Reduces the chances of ketosis when used in combination with rumen protected niacin.

Dear Dr. Saqib Please see if this is problem of knee joint with young bird having rapid growth. This may be Tibial Dyschondroplasia. The main cause is disturbance in DEB due to high chloride contents of feed. If this is so, try to adjust acid-base balance as well as adjust the Ca and P value of feed for this fast growth.
